We are David and Meg Dagenhart and we reside in the great state of North Carolina. We have a love for Jesus, family, art and our dog/child Magnolia, aka Mags. From an early age, both of us have loved art. We have loved being able to express ourselves creatively through painting, calligraphy, music, and the list goes on and on. As we have aged, we have seen how our creativity can point to the most creative one, our Creator.
The name Ruth and Roses comes out of a deep family history and a major turning point in our lives. Meg lost her grandma, Betty Ruth in July of 2015. Although she had been dabbling in art for a while, she really dove into it upon the passing of her grandma. It became a coping mechanism and a way to remind her of the truth of who God is in the midst of heartbreak. So, Ruth and Roses is named after our beloved Betty Ruth and her love for yellow roses. We hope to honor her in everything that we do.
We are glad you are here and checking us out. We welcome you to journey with us as we put ourselves and our art out there to point to the beauty of Christ. After all, he is the greatest artist.
